How the IIST 2026 Rank List is Prepared?

• Basis: The rank list for undergraduate admissions is prepared solely on the basis of JEE Advanced scores. Only candidates who meet the minimum qualifying marks in JEE Advanced and have successfully registered for IIST counselling are considered.

Minimum Qualifying Marks (2025 reference)

• General: At least 14% aggregate and 3% in each subject (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)
• EWS/OBC-NCL: At least 12.6% aggregate and 2.7% in each subject
• SC/ST/PwD: At least 7% aggregate and 1.5% in each subject

Category-wise Lists: The rank list is published category-wise (General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS, PwD, etc.), reflecting the reservation policy.
