The Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination commonly known as the AEEE 2025 is a university-level entrance examination. All the aspirants who are qualifying for this examination can apply for four years B. Tech programs in any of the four engineering campuses of Amrita University. The exam pattern of AEEE 2025 will allow the candidates to have an idea of the number, type, and nature of questions asked in the exam, the marking scheme of the exam, mode, language, and time duration allotted in the exam. The eligible candidates of AEEE can choose either mode of exam – online or offline in which they have to answer 100 questions divided into three sections of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to be completed in 2 and a half hours allotted. AEEE 2025 Exam Pattern
- The examination will be held in two modes i.e.; Online and Offline mode.
- The questions will be objective type
- The total duration of the exam will be of 3 hours
- There is a negative marking. for each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted
- For every right answer, 3 marks will be awarded to the candidate.
- There will be total of 130 questions for AEEE 2025. Out of it, 35 questions will be from chemistry, 35 from physics, and 50 questions from mathematics.
- If any candidate indicates more than one answer to a question, it will be treated as an incorrect answer and negative marks will be awarded.
- It is advisable that the candidates should only attempt those questions to which they are confident about the answer.

AEEE 2025 Paper& Pencil Based Test (P&P):
The P&P mode of the AEEE 2025 question paper will be a printed booklet of questions in four different versions. The question booklet will contain 100 multiple-choice questions. The answers should be marked in a printed OMR answer sheet
AEEE 2025 Computer-Based Test (CBT):
Candidates should be computer savvy in order to complete all the questions as there will be 100 questions to be answered. Candidates in different slots will get different questions and they have to complete the test within the time given to them. The candidates should mark/select the right answer from the given choices during the test.
